FinDigit Privacy Policy

FinDigit ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal finance and expense manager. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. By using FinDigit you agree to this policy.

Summary

• Your financial data (transactions, accounts, categories, budgets, notes, and settings) is stored only on your device. We have no server and no user accounts, so we never receive or store your financial information.
• The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob collects and shares a limited set of data (such as an advertising identifier) with Google. This is the only data that leaves your device.

Data stored only on your device

Everything you enter is saved locally using on-device storage. Because there is no backend and no account system, this data is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is permanently removed from your device.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob, operated by Google, may collect and share the following data for advertising and for fraud prevention, security, and compliance:

• Device or other identifiers (such as an advertising ID)
• Approximate location (derived from your IP address)
• App interactions (such as ad interactions)

On iOS, the app requests non-personalized ads only and does not access the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA), so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown. On Android, ads may be personalized using your advertising ID.

Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can also review how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising

Device permissions

• Face ID / fingerprint (biometrics): Used only to unlock the app. Authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never receive or store your biometric data.
• Microphone and speech recognition: Used only when you choose to add a transaction by voice. Your speech is transcribed by your device's speech recognition service. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio or transcripts.
• Notifications: Used to show local reminders you schedule. They are generated on your device.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, messages, or your financial records. We do not sell your data.

Children

FinDigit is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 18 and older.

Data deletion

Because there is no account and your data is stored only on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. To reset the advertising identifier used for ads, use your device's ad settings listed above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
